Why do iPhone Duo prices differ by country?
Apple sets a separate price in each country's own currency, and what that price includes is not the same everywhere. In the US, Apple's listed prices exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout. In most of the other countries here, the listed price already includes VAT or GST. That is the main reason the headline numbers cannot be lined up against each other directly. If you would rather spread the cost, our monthly cost and carriers guide covers Apple's monthly options and carrier deals.
When does the iPhone Duo go on sale in more countries?
Apple launched the iPhone Duo in two waves:
- First wave, Friday, October 23: more than 70 countries and regions.
- Second wave, Friday, October 30: 28 more countries and regions, according to Apple Newsroom.
We will update this page with second-wave prices after October 30. If stock is tight where you live, our guide on how to get an iPhone Duo sooner covers your options.
What does not change by country?
The price changes from country to country; the phone does not. Apple sells the same iPhone Duo hardware in every country listed:
- Same configurations. Four storage tiers, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, in star white and night sky.
- eSIM-only. The Duo uses dual eSIM and has no SIM tray. Apple's store pages state that it is activated with an eSIM and does not support a physical SIM, so you need a carrier that supports eSIM. Our eSIM explainer covers what dual eSIM means and how to switch from a physical SIM.
- Same software. The Duo ships with iOS 27.1 at launch.
